Stronger supply networks
Engage existing municipal, independent and commercial collection channels rather than replacing them.
Biorosh Energies is developing integrated waste management and resource recovery solutions for African markets, beginning with a proposed facility in Zambia.

Biorosh Energies is developing an integrated waste management and resource recovery business for African markets. Our work brings together collection, logistics, sorting, conversion technologies and practical applications for recovered materials.
We aim to work with municipalities, communities and industrial partners to address difficult waste streams while supporting local value creation. Our first proposed processing facility is in Lusaka, Zambia. The experience gained there is intended to guide projects in other countries, with each one shaped by local needs and requirements.
Biorosh aims to work with collectors, recyclers, municipalities and industry. Reusable and mechanically recyclable materials should be separated first. Suitable residual plastics can then be prepared for resource recovery.

Engage existing municipal, independent and commercial collection channels rather than replacing them.
Inspect and separate waste. Prioritise reuse and conventional recycling before processing eligible residual plastics.
Apply controlled thermal processing and test recovered products for quality, safety and appropriate end uses.
Agree suitable plastic waste streams with local partners.
Inspect, sort and remove unsuitable or contaminated material.
Use a proposed continuous thermal recovery system for eligible fractions.
Test products and assess their safe, compliant applications.
Our current service portfolio covers collection through conversion, alongside advisory and community work. Scope and availability are agreed for each market and project.

Waste handling and management solutions for municipal, residential and commercial needs.
Collection planning, on-site pickup and transport of suitable plastic waste streams.
Separate plastics by type and quality; prepare eligible fractions for the appropriate recovery route.
Develop conversion pathways for suitable residual plastics, with product testing and approvals before distribution.
Waste audits, plastic reduction strategies, roadmaps and circular economy planning.
Environmental assessment and reporting support tailored to applicable rules and client requirements.
Explore research collaborations and licensing opportunities suited to local conditions.
Awareness, collection initiatives and partnerships that include communities in better waste systems.
Biorosh's portfolio includes alternative fuel oils, carbon material and process gas. Further refining can be assessed for industrial fuel applications; lubricants and other oils form part of the wider product vision. Specifications and end uses depend on feedstock, testing and regulatory approval.

Pyrolysis oil and potential refined fuel products for suitable industrial applications, subject to quality verification.
Carbon-rich material whose use as a filler or other product requires processing, testing and market suitability.
Recovered gas may contribute heat to the conversion process, subject to plant design and emissions controls.
Technology focus: continuous pyrolysis in an oxygen-limited environment, integrated with preparation, refining, quality control and emissions management. Performance claims are project-specific and will be validated during development.
The proposed Makeni facility in Lusaka is intended to establish the operating, supply and quality systems that can inform future country projects.
The facility is in development. Capacity and annual intake are planned figures, subject to feedstock, final design, approvals and operation.
Biorosh’s long-term vision spans multiple African countries. Each opportunity would require its own waste assessment, local partners, market demand, site design and regulatory approvals.
The first preference is to reduce waste, reuse and recycle suitable materials. Biorosh's recovery approach is intended for eligible residues that remain after those routes are considered. Explore the circular economy approach.
The existing Biorosh programme includes community engagement, environmental education, collection drives, skills development and volunteer initiatives. Activities will be shaped with local partners as projects progress.
We welcome conversations with municipalities, waste suppliers, recyclers, industrial buyers, consulting clients and strategic partners. For project enquiries, contact Daniel Mundea, Director.
